WWF’s ‘The Last Selfie’ Uses SnapChat To Stir Emotions

A campaign by WWF used selfies and the popular social platform of SnapChat as a way to create a sense of urgency by using the popular feature of SnapChat to show just how quickly endangered animals can become extinct.

Executed by WWF Denmark & Turkey and WPP agencies UNCLEGREY in Denmark and 41? 29! in Turkey the campaign harped on SnapChat’s disappearing feature to create an impact and connect with the campaign. Animals asked people: “Not to let this be my last selfie.” The disappearing feature of the application further reinforced this communication.
