World’s First Ticklish Car Arrives in Birmingham for Comic Relief

It’s the ticklish car that can’t help but drive you to laughter.

And today it pulled up in Birmingham city centre – along with Mr Tickle – in a bid to raise smiles, money and awareness for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

The world’s first ticklish Toyota Yaris – which shaked, giggled and squirted water at stunned passersby outside the Library of Birmingham – has special connections to the West Midlands after Dudley’s own Lenny Henry recorded a booming laugh that sounded when ticklers hit a sensitive spot.

And the uproarious upgrades were a favourite with both children and adults from the region.

The model tee-hee, which took engineers around a month to get giggling, is supporting Red Nose Day events as part of official partner Toyota’s goal to raise £1 million for Comic Relief.
