Case Study: Monopoly at Mall of the Emirates

As a brand that creates great moments for its shoppers ā€“ Majid Al Futtaim tied up with Monopoly to bring to the region, the first ever life size monopoly board. Shoppers that spent 300AED or more in the mall, could play the game LIVE and enter a chance to walk away with numerous shopping vouchers and prizes.

The challenge was to minimize game-play time, enabling the mall to accommodate more players per day, while ensuring a complete and memorable experience.

We created and deployed innovative apps to enable a high level of automation for the campaign on-ground. This ensured a seamless experience for participants and made social media sharing easy – thus increase overall reach for the campaign.

Our 13 day campaign saw us reach over 200,000 people organically online and get over 75 Million Impressions for Mall Of Emirates (Campaign ran across 3 malls) Almost 15,000 people participated in the game across 3 Malls, contributing to a spend of over 4.5Million AED.
